Alien Nation was aired on September 18, 1989 which deals with the story of aliens known as Newcomers or Tenctonese. They were slowly begin integrating the human society after years of quarantine but were victims of a new type of discrimination. Sam Francisco is the main character in the series, he is a humanoid species from the planet Tencton turned out a police detective in Los Angeles. Together with him is his human partner,Matthew Sykes. Both were fighting the crime together while learning to respect the other's culture. They also investigate the Newcomer underworld, and especially Newcomer leader William Harcourt.
