Aired in 1966 until 1967, The Time Tunnel was a sci-fi television series that starred James Darren and Robert Colbert. The TV show was about two scientists who were lost in the maze of the past and the present ages. Tony Newman and Doug Phillips were partners and the head of the Tic-Toc project which is a multi billion dollar installation beneath the desert.
As they test the time tunnel that they invented, they were trapped in it and now struggling to go back to the present time. They have experienced and seen the past historical events in the world, be it the Siege of Troy or even the sinking of Titanic. They even traveled to the future and experience to battle with aliens. The other scientists Ann Mac Gregor, Gen. Kirk and Dr. Swain were the ones who tries to fix the time tunnel to help Tony and Dough be back in the present time.
