Philly was debuted on the 25th of September 2001 and ended on the 28th of May 2002. It runs for only one season with 22 episodes. The series was created by Steven Bochco and was focused with the life of a criminal defense attorney.
Kathleen Maguire played by Kim Delaney was the focused of the story. She was a single mother and passed the board exam and continue in her pursuit of justice for her clients to build his reputation as a defense attorney in Philadelphia. She copes with professional conflicts with her relationship with his ex-husband who was the Assistant District Attorney while battling for her clients get out of trouble. With all of that she also start dating with Augustus Ripley also known as Jack who was a judge and played by Jamie Denton.
