The Practice DVD
The Practice was created by David E. Kelley and it was broadcast March 2, 1997 to May 16, 2004 at ABC. It was an American legal drama, centered on the partners and associates at the Boston, Massachusetts Law Firm. The show won the Emmy Awards in 1997 and 1998 for the Best Drama Series, and spawned the spin-off series Boston Legal, which began airing in the fall of 2004 and deals with similar subject matter, though often taking a lighter, more character-oriented approach. The Practice focuses on the law firm of Donnell and Associates but later become Young, Frutt and Berluti, it features the firm's involvement in several high-profile criminal and civil cases that often mirror events unfolding in the real world. By the end of the seventh season some of the characters were fired because of drastic budget reduction. On March 11, 2004 Kelley created the new spin-off series of Boston Legal starring Spader, Mitra and Willian Shatner.
