Surfside 6 was debuted on the 1st of October 1960 and ended on the 25th of June 1962. It has two (2) seasons with seventy-four (74) episodes. It was about the Miami Beach detective agency known as Surfside 6 which is set on a houseboat.
Dave Thorne and Ken Madison played by Lee Patterson and Van Williams respectively, they were lawyers that runs the investigative service of Surfside 6. Dave is a Korean war veteran and became an assistant D.A. in New York before going to Miami while Ken was trained in New Orleans. They were helped by Sandy Winfield played by Troy Donahue, Daphne Dutton played by Diane McBain and Cha Cha O' Brien played by Margarita Sierra. Sandy was their playboy friend and who worked on Wall Street. Daphne was a socialite and owner of the yacht next to their houseboat. Cha Cha was a singer in Boom Boom Room located across the street at the Fontainebleau Hotel.
The detectives informed police lieutenants Ray Snedigar and/or Gene Plehn informed when they encounter such criminal activities.
