Shane was a TV series based on the western book of Jack Schaefer. It was directed by Herschel Daughtery and Gary Nelson. David Carradine starred as Shane and Bert Freed as Ryker, the villain of the story. The TV show focuses on the character of Shane as he is caught in the conflict between Ryker and a bunch of settlers. Shane beats uop Ryker's man, thus, Ryket tried to buy him. They take on the whole crew of Ryker.
