The series starred Helen Mirren as DCI Jane Denisson, a female police detective investigates a series of serial murders.
Dennison sees her chance to lead a murder investigation even before she takes the case, there is a prime suspect. But the murder squad she take over is
rude to her, men are eager to pull the investigation, the prime suspect remains elusive and they are working together to find the serial killer. Her job is complicated by the hostility of the staff towards a woman boss.In particular, Sergeant Billy Otley,whose hostility threatens him and must deal with how
her growing obsession with the case in damaging her relationship with her boyfriend.
