Tales of the Gold Monkey DVD
In 1938 set in the South Pacific, Jake Cutter portrayed by Stephen Collins is an ex-flying tigers operator of an air cargo who flies a red and white Grumman Goose called Cutter's Goose. He was accompanied by his best friend and mechanic Corky (Jeff Mackay), a good-hearted alcoholic whose memory is hazy as a result of the quantity of booze he consumes. They also have another company which is the one-eyed Jack Russell Terrier named Jack, when he barks once it means “no†and if twice it was “yes†(or the opposite if it suits him).
As the story goes on, Jake's love interest was Sara Stickney White (Caitlin O'Heaney) the spy contact of U.S. Government. She sings in the Monkey Bar to cover her agent activities. The Nazi spy named Willy was the Reverend Tenboom (John Calvin) a phony man of the cloth who likes to “bless†the natives, and also with interest in both sides.
