Inspector Morse is a fictional character from the novel Chief Inspector Morse by Colin Dexter, and in the television series it was created by Colin Dexter and Tony Warren. Starring John Thaw as Inspector Morse and Kevin Whatley as Detective Sergeant lewis. Morse is a highly credible detective and plausible human being. His life filled with difficult personal relationships, and his negligence with his health, however make him a more tragic character than the previous classic sleuths.
Inspector Morse was aired from January 6, 1987 to November 15, 2000. It aired seven seasons and a total of 28 episodes and 5 specials.
