Emergency is a long- time running action-adventure TV series with a touch of medical drama. It was run on NBC Chanel for six years from 1972- 1978. It has six seasons and 134 episodes. They are referred to as squad 51. Together they respond to different kinds of emergencies and provide first aid to save many lives of individuals. They are also being assisted by a Doctor and the head nurse of Rampart General Hospital through radio contact. These staffs provide instructions for the paramedics to do their job. Typically, their rescue involves people trapped in high places or from cliff. After the people have been rescued, they are rushed to the emergency room of the nearest hospital.
