Delvecchio DVD
Delvecchio is an American police drama/action television series that centers on Sgt. Dominick Delvecchio (Judd Hirsch), a tough, independent, integrity-minded, detective from the Washington Heights division of the Los Angeles Police Department. Together with his burly partner Sgt. Paul Shonski (Charles Haid), they tackle many different cases such as auto thefts, murder, illegal drugs investigations, corruption, etc. Delvecchio, a law school graduate, dreams of someday becomming a reputed lawyer, so When is not working on a case, he can usually be found studying for the bar exam, which he has already flunked several times.
Other notable characters in the series includes Lt. Macavan, played by Michael Conran, their department's boss and Tomaso, played by Mario Gallo, Delvecchio's father who owns a barbershop. Delvecchio ran on CBS from September 9, 1976 to July 17, 1977 for a total of 20 episodes.
