Newhart DVD
Newhart is a television comedy series starring comedian Bob Newhart played by Dick Loudon. It was started on October 25, 1982 and ended its show on September 8, 1990 on CBS.
Bob and his wife portrayed by Mary Frann leave their life in Manhattan,then moved from New York City to a small town in rural Vermont to operate the historic Stradford Inn. Bob is a writer and becomes host of Vermont Inn.Other characters in the series is Leslie Vanderkellen,as maid,George Utley as handyman and Kirk Devane as the owner of the rundown Minuteman Cafe next door.Newhart featured the characters of Dick's neighbors, the brother Larry, Darryl and Darryl.The character of Larryl also appeared in several episodes of the TV series.
