Dennis The Menace DVD
Dennis the Menace was an American situation comedy series based on the popular newspaper comic strip of the same name created by Hank Ketcham. This live-action tv sitcom features the misadventures of Dennis Mitchell (Jay North), a lovable, well meaning, blond haired, freckled faced five year old boy that always seemed to cause chaos despite his good intentions. Dennis' next door neighbor, George Wilson (Joseph Kearns), is usually on the receiving end of his unintentional mischief.
Other notable characters includes Mr. Wilsons wife Martha Wilson(Sylvia Field), Dennis' friend Tommy Anderson (Billy Booth) and his parents Alice (Gloria Henry) and Henry Mitchell (Herbert Anderson). Dennis the Menace ran on CBS from October 4, 1959 to July 7, 1963 lasting for 4 seasons (146 episodes). The show was consistently on the Nielson RAtions top 30 on its first 3 seasons.
