The Dick van Dyke show television show was filmed from October 3, 1961 to June 1, 1966 on CBS. The story of the misadventures of the writers: Rob, Buddy, and Sally. They write for the Alan Brady TV show under Melvin "Mel" Cooley, Alan Brady's producer and brother-in-law. Rob and his wife, Laura live in New Rochelle, New York. With them is their son, Ritchie, and neighbors, Jerry and Millie Helper.
