The Detectives DVD
The Detectives was a British comedy series about the misadventures of two defective detectives named Bob Louis, a dumb and David Briggs, a dumber. Despite of unbelievable incompetence, somehow manage to solve their cases and retain though they came close to being fired on occasion their jobs. They were led by the frustrated superintendent Frank Cottam.
The Detectives ran for five seasons with 30 episodes aired from January 27, 1993 until December 28, 1997 on BBC one Network. The Detectives began as a series of occasional short sketches on Jasper Carrott's TV show. It was eventually developed into a full-scale sitcom.
