Smart Guy DVD
Smart Guy was an American situation comedy that stars ten year old genius T.J. Henderson (Tahj Mowry) who got promoted from the 4th grade to 10th Grade. In each episode, T.J. deals not only with homework and advanced classes but also with fitting in as a small kid in the big world of high school. He's joined by his fairly popular brother Marcus (Jason Weaver) and somewhat dimwitted but lovable bestfriend Mo (Omar Gooding), making his life a bit easier - sometimes. Other characters includes Yvette (Essence Atkins), his activist sister, and Floyd (John Marshall Jones), his roofing entrepreneur father.
Smart Guy ran for 3 seasons (51 episodes) on The WB Television Network from March 26, 1997 to May 16, 1999. Reruns of the show were shown on Disney Channel in the US, United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand, as well as on the Family Channel in Canada. Smart Guy was one of the last series produced by Walt Disney Television for primetime television.
