F-Troop is a 30-minute American comedy television series originally aired for two seasons on ABC-TV from September 14. 1965 until April 6, 1967 with a total of 65 episodes in all. For the first season, the series was filmed in black-and-white but for the second season it aired colored episodes. Set in a fictional United States Army outpost in the Old West called Fort Courage, Kansas, the series is about Wilton Parmenter played by Ken Berry who is promoted to a Captain Officer of US Army from being a private army. Captain Wilton is the leader of the F-troop. Other members of the cast include Forrest Tucker as Sergeant Morgan Sylvester O'Rourke, Larry Storch as Corporal Randolph Agarn, James Hampton as Private First Class Hannibal Shirley Dobbs, Joe Brooks as Private Vanderbilt, Bob Steele as Private Duffy and Melody Patterson as Wrnagler Jane Angelica Thrift.
