Check it Out! was a Canadian situation comedy that focused on the life of grocery store manager named Howard Bannister(Don Adams) and his staff of misfits at Cobb's Supermarket. On the daily basis, Howard have to deal with the incompetence of various staff members not to mention his crude boss Mrs. Cobb (Barbary Hamilton). He'd also been dating his secretary Edna (Dinah Christie) for years, but seem to have no plans to wed marry her due to his fear of commitment.
Check It Out! was originally aired on CTV from September 21, 1985 to April 1, 1988. All its 66 episodes were produced in Toronto in front of a live studio audience. It also aired in the USA Network and in the US in syndication.
