Windfall is inspired by many real-life stories of instant millionaires of various lotteries, Windfall featured the life of 20 friends who won 386 million dollars. It premiered on Fox Entertainment in the fall of 2005 and ended on June 8, 2006. The series focused only with the trials and pain of the nine main characters and the sudden change in their lives as they won the lottery. The cast includes Luke Perry and Lana Parilla as married couple Peter and Nina who entered a lottery with their long-time friends Jason Gedrick and Sarah Wynter as Cameron and Beth, also a married couple. The casts also includes D.J. Cotrona as Sean Mathers, Jon Foster as a 16-year old teenager Damien, Alice Greczyn as another teenaged girl named Frankie, Malinda Williams as Kimberly George and Jaclyn De Santis as Nurse Maggie Hernadez.
