The Real Ghostbusters is an animated television series in United States ran from 1986 to 1991. It was based on the 1984 film Ghostbusters produced by Columbia Pictures Television, DIC Enterprises and Coca-Cola Telecommunications. The series is about the adventures of a group named the Ghostbusters; Peter, Ray, Egon, and Winston together with secretary Janine, accountant Louis and their mascot Slimer as they catch ghost to protect people in New York City and to make money. They are using weapons and a ghost trap to combat against ghosts. The episodes in the show is also published in two magazines, Now Comics in USA and Marvel Comics in United Kingdom.
