Static Shock is an animated series ran for 52 episodes on The Warner Brothers Channel in USA. The series premiered in September 2000 and produced by Warner Brothers Animation. The story revolves on the adventures of Virgil Ovid Hawkins also known as Static, a DC Comics superhero. Virgil is a typical fourteen year-old kid with few friends including his best friend Richie Foley and his crush Frieda Goren. Francis or F-Stop bullied him but a schoolmate named Wade tries to protect him. Virgil got his ability to create and control static electricity and magnetism in the riot that made some people sniff the experimental gas. He became known as the “Static”. His best friend Richie is also there who became “Gear” who invented weapons and gadgets to fight evil villains in the city. Shenice known as She-Bang also joined the gang who was a meta-human with acrobatic skills and super strength.
