The Rainbow Brite is an animated series based on the Hallmark Card's character aired on June 27, 1984 . This is a story of a young girl who tries to bring beauty and happiness in the world in everything she can. She lives in the Rainbow Land with the Color Kids. She is wearing a magical belt called the Color Belt which becomes a powerful belt every time it is activated by a handful of Star Sprinkles. Starlite is Rainbow Brite's talking horse who helps her in her journey together with Twink, a personal sprite. Murky Dismal and Lurky from the Gloomy Pits stops them to bring happiness to the Earth but they never win.
