Bionic Six is an American-Japanese animated show produced by TMS Entertainment and distributed by MCA TV. The series lasted only for one season with a total of 65 episodes from 1987-1988. Osama Dezaki, a Japanese animation director is the chief supervising director of Bionic Six. The series follows the adventures of a machined-enhanced family who possess unique superpowers after they involved in a skiing vacation accident. The alien radiation source made the family to be comatose, Professor Amadeus Sharp gave each family member a specific bionic power and they became the Bionic Six. The father is a test pilot and gourmet cook, the mother is a marine biologists. They have four children including Meg, a blonde valley girl; Eric, a brown-haired boy who is a member of a baseball team; J.D., an intelligent student; and Bunji who was practicing karate.
