A Pup Named Scooby-Doo is an American animated television series written by Joe Ruby and Ken Spears for Hanna-Barbera Productions in 1969. It was the eight incarnation of Scooby-Doo premiered from September 10, 1988 and lasted for three seasons on ABC until August 17, 1991. The series follows the new and exciting adventures of the Scooby-Doo gang as they solve new mysteries. It features a talking dog named Scooby-Doo and his four teenaged pals-the leader Fred Jones, Daphne Blake, Velma Dinkley and Norville “Shaggy” Rogers.
