Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea DVD
Voyage to the Bottom was premiered on September 14, 1964 and last aired on March 31, 1968 on ABC. Irwin Allen created the series which is based on 1961 film starring Walter Pidgeon and Joan Fortaine. With it's for years aired on the television it became one of the best and most exciting science fiction on that time.
The series chronicles the adventures of SSRN Seaview, the world's first privately owned nuclear submarine which is designed by Admiral Harriman Nelson. It was created for the Nelson Institute of Marine Research as a tool to oceanographic research.
