The Rat Patrol DVD
The Rat Patrol is an American TV series that aired on ABC at Monday 8:30PM as their 30 minutes show in all part of the United States. It premiered on September 12, 1966 until the finale on September 16, 1968 as the category of Action's Adventure series. Were it featured the four allied members such as; George Christopher played as Sgt. Sam Troy, Gary Raymond as Sgt. Jack Moffit, Lawrence Casey as Pvt. Mark T. Hitchcock and Pvt. Tully Pettigrew. Eric Braeden played as Captain Hauptmann Hans Dietrich the villain of the group.
The show follows the loosely done adventures of an elite team of Commandos 111th Armor Recon, attached to long-range desert group. This three American and one British allied soldier of the North African Campaign during World War II has a mission of "To attack, harass and wreak havoc" on field marshal Romel's boasted of the African Korps. It also refer the title of this show on the nicknames given to some of the British forces in the campaign, as "Rats of Tobruk" means of desert rats.
