The Highwayman is a 1987 action-adventure television series ran for ten episodes on NBC Network starring Sam J. Jones as Highwayman. The series was created by Glen A. Larson and Douglas Heyes aired from September 1987 to May 1988. The lead character never revealed his real name and more mysterious than any other series. He has an Australian side kick, an outback survival expert named “Jetto” played by Mark Jackson. The highwayman drives a huge black computerized 18-wheeler truck with a built-shaped cabin which can become invisible by operating “stealth mode”. The theme of the series is futuristic. It also starred Claudia Christian as Highwayman's communicator, Stanford Egi as Mr. Toto, a technical wizard.
