The Dukes of Hazzard is an action comedy television series aired on CBS Network from 1979-1985. The series is based on the 1975 movie, Moonrunners which are both produced by Gy Waldron. It starred Seann William Scott as Bo and Johnny Knoxville as Luke. They are the “good old boy” cousins who try to save the family from the evil and corrupt commissioner Boss Hogg with the help of their cousin Daisy played by Jessica Simpson and their Uncle Jesse portrayed by Willie Nelson. The series became an instant hit in American television. There are 87 to 104 episodes in five seasons.
