Shazam is a 30-minute action television series aired from 1974 to 1977 on CBS produced by Filmation based on DC Comics' Captain Marvel superhero. The series featured a teenager named Billy Batson played by Michael Gray and his guardian known as Mentor (Les Tremaye) as they travel across the country to learn about life and to help people who is in need. When there is a disaster, Billy has to yell the magic word “SHAZAM!”. Billy has the power to transform to Captain Marvel which is given by Solomon, Hercules, Atla, Zeus, Archillese and Mercury.
