Route 66 was a TV show aired on 1960-1964 and started originally at CBS channel. It has 4 seasons and 114 episodes that usually ran for approximately 52 minutes per episode. The show has a semi-anthology concept where it is more centered with the guest star rather than regular cast. In each week it has different cast and story. On the first two season Tod Stiles and Buz Murdock are the two main characters traveling toward the North America, but Murdock was cast quickly due to hepatitis. So he was replaced by Lincoln Case up to the final season. The TV show was known for it convertible car and the show theme song. The Show was entitled “route 66” because most of their episodes were shot near the route 66.
