Richard Diamond DVD
Richard Diamond was first aired on the 1st of July 1957 and ended on the 6th of September 1960. The series was created by Blake Edwards for a radio program of which starred Dick Powell. On the tv series Powell hired David Meyer but suggest to change his name for a more marketable name David Janssen to play his character as he can't do the tv series because of his busy schedules.
Richard Diamond was an ex-cop who became as a private detective. Being an ex-cop he had easy access with important informations and got some help from his former boss Lt. McGough. He stayed in New York City but later moved to Los Angeles where he found a girlfriend named Karen Wells played by Barbara Bain. He was joined by Sam, his sexy secretary; Lt. Kile, friend from the force; Sgt. Alden, his enemy; and many others.
