The Mod Squad is a police drama series that is about undercover hippie cops starring a long haired Michael Cole as Pete, Clarence Williams III, with an Afro, as Lincoln, who freed the slaves and Peggy Lipton as the runaway Julie, daughter of a San Francisco prostitute.Three tough juvenile offenders are recruited as undercover cops to catches youth hangouts.
The television series was created from the true experience of creator Bud Ruskin, a former police of Los Angeles sheriff department in the 1950. He was part of a narcotics squad made of young officers.
