Longstreet is an award winning series that created by Stirling Silliphant and directed by Joseph Sergant. It starred James Franciscus as the character of Michael Longstreet. The series was set
in New Orleans. The ABC Network ran this series from September 16, 1971 until August 10, 1972 every Thursdays from 9:00pm to 10:00pm and produced by Paramount Television. Bruce Lee also appeared throughout on this series as the self-defense instructor.
It revolves on the life of Michael "Mike" Longstreet, work as insurance company investigator of New Orleans. While on a case, a double tragic happened to him and that is the lost of his wife and eyesight due to explosion. Given on what tragic he had, he decided to continue his work as an investigator and find the one whose responsible for the death of his wife and for his blindness.
