Hardcastle and McCormick is a 1980 action-drama television series aired on ABC from 1983 to 1986 under Stephen J. Cannell Productions starring Brian Keith as Judge Milton C. Hardcastle and Daniel Hugh Kelly as Mark “Skid” McCormick, an ex-convict and race car driver. Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Hardcastle retired from service. McCormick is an intelligent car thief who is looking for the murdered of his friend. Together, they come to a deal that Hardcastle will help McCormick find the murderer. McCormick chooses to help the judge but in return allowing him to use the Coyote X, the car which is designed by his murdered friend.
