The Fantastic Journey is originally titled as The Incredible Island which aired between February 3 to June 17, 1997 on NBC Network. This is a 60-minute American sci-fi TV series starring Jared Martin as Varian, Carl Franklin as Dr. Fred Walters, Ike Iesemann as Scott Jordan, Roddy McDowall as Jonathan Willoway and Katie Saylor as Liana. This is about a family who sailed a ship carrying scientific expedition through Bermuda Triangle. They got shipwrecked on a mysterious island where they meet beings from other planets, times and dimensions. They can't find a way to escape the island until they learned they have to slide through portals but it would lead them to other dimensions or planets and even times. The series was produced by Bruce Lansbury Productions and Columbia Pictures Television, and was distributed by Columbia TriStar Domestic Television and Sony Pictures Television. It ended with 10 episodes in 1 season.
