Beat Master is a Canadian TV series aired from October 1999 to May 2002 with a total of 66 episodes in three seasons. The series is base on 1982 movie, The Beast Master. This features the adventures of Dar (Daniel Goddard), the last survivor of his tribe who has the ability to communicate telepathically with the animals. Gifted with strength, courage and fighting skills of a great warrior, he uses this abilities to defend all living creatures from evil forces. Beast Master is nominated for the Open Craft Award in the category of cinematography by Australian Film Institute and for Saturn Award for Best Synticated/Cable Television Series. The producer of the television series is the Coote/Hayes Production.
