In 1960, Batman appeared on ABC-TV that ran from January 12, 1966 to March 14, 1968 for two and a half season. The series is based on the DC comic book character with the same name. It starred Adam West as Bruce Wayne who is the Batman and Burt Ward as his apprentice Dick Grayson also known as Robin. There are villains who commit crimes such as stealing or taking over the Gotham City. Batman and Robin are responsible for defeating the villains. They are using the Batmoblie to move around the city and hide at the Batcave located below the Wayne mansion. There were a total of 120 episodes aired for the first two seasons. The villains that the duo encountered are The Joker, Catwoman, The Riddler and The Penguin.
